Jungle Cat Cacao is shipping schoolbooks to Belize in an effort to help the village schools near our cacao farm.
In December of 2021 we completed our first shipment of donated school textbooks to Santa Ana, Toledo District, Belize. Mr Ligorio Coy, one of the leaders of Santa Ana, assured us that these books would be a great help to Santa Ana school children. He also stated that these books would also be distributed to other more remote villages which are off the electric grid in the Toledo District as well.
Jungle Cat Cacao hopes to complete sending the remaining 70 or so boxes of schoolbooks over the course of the next two years.
These books were donated in 2019 to Jungle Cat Cacao by the Pender County North Carolina School System.
